Michael C. Dolan, 94; New Albany

— Funeral services for Michael C. Dolan, 95, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany, with burial SCI-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. American Legion Post #204, Sellersburg, will provide military honors.

He was born in New Albany to the late William D. and Hermeena Louise [Waldrew] Dolan. He was a member of DePauw Memorial UMC in New Albany and was retired from the old Dan Sillings Buick as a salesman. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was a member of the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post #28 in New Albany. He was a 20-year volunteer at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany and a longtime supporter and volunteer of the Salvation Army.

Survivors include his daughters; Vicki Cline [John], Carla Dolan; a brother, William Dolan; grandson, Michael Cline [all of New Albany]; and granddaughter Deidre Dowling [Ken], of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita E. [Hicks] Dolan and his sister Dora Vincent.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Salvation Army.
