Funeral services for Peggy Sandra Holt Campbell, 67, Louisville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at Highlands Funeral Home, Louisville, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville. She died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Baptist Health, Louisville.
She was born in San Francisco, and raised in Madison. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Indiana University School of Social Work. Her work history included, Indiana Child Protective Services, Visiting Nurse Associations, Central State Hospital of Indiana and Bingham Child Guidance Center. After retirement from social work, she volunteered at Pinotti’s Flower Market. She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Indiana University Alumni Association and attended St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Carmen Suzanne Goffinet Thomas and her husband, Chris, and Jennifer Paige Goffinet Canter and her husband, Chip; brothers, Robert Holt and his wife, Kaye, and Fred Holt Jr.; grandchildren, Zachary Gavin Goffinet Vincent, Jenna Kyle Thomas, Christopher Luke Thomas, Robert Maximilian Thomas, Charles Robert Canter and Evan Michael Canter; and great-granddaughter, Mia Paige Goffinet Vincent.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Canter and Fred Holt Sr. and a sister, Carol Ann Campbell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville.
