Ralph E. “Junior” Heath, 66; Henryville

A funeral service for Ralph E. “Junior” Heath, 66, Henryville, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory, Henryville, with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. He died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Hillcrest Village, Jeffersonville. 

He was born March 30, 1947, in Scottsburg to the late Ralph E. Heath and Dora (Morris) Heath. Ralph graduated from Henryville High School in 1965 and retired from Cummins Engine Company, Columbus, Ind., as a dock attendant in 1998. He enjoyed being a history reenactor. He also worked part-time at Frazier History Museum specializing in Native American history. He was a self-taught artist and loved to draw. 

On June 6, 1969, he married Linda L. Hawk in Underwood, Ind., who survives. 

In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by three children, Tonya (Garrett Emmert) Heath, Henryville, Kevin (Rebecca) Heath, Sellersburg, and Brian Heath, Henryville; two grandchildren, Hannah Norskov and Sarah Norskov, both New Salisbury, Ind. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Heath. 

Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday, which will be conducted by Pastor Leon Armstrong.
