A memorial service for Jeanne R. Curry Lamm, 85, New Albany, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany. She died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, in New Albany.
She was born Jan. 29, 1928 in Indianapolis, to the late Bernard L. and Vivian Sanders Curry. She worked as a registered nurse at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, in Denver, Colo., and in New Albany for the late Drs. Don and Bob LaFollette and Green Valley Care Center. She was a member of Alpha Club, Coeterie, The Book Club, Monday Meditation Group, Tai Chi, Yoga, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Bible Study of the Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Jane O’Connor and her husband, Bill, and Patty Zielinski and her husband, Dan; son, Ray Lamm and his wife, Dodie; brothers, Jim Curry and his wife, Dee, and Jerry Curry and his wife, Sarah; sister-in-law, Mary Curry; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton and brother, Jack.
Memorial visitation will be from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral hone.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Salvation Army.
