A memorial service for Emma Jean Pate, 82, New Albany, will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany, with internment at El Bethel Cemetery, Crawford County. She died Saturday at University of Louisville Hospital.
She was the former Emma Jean Levell, born in English, Ind., to the late Edward and Nellie Levell. She was a member of the DePauw Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Boyd Alan Pate, Hallandale, Fla., and Gary B. Pate and his wife, Paula, Veedersburg, Ind.; a sister, Anna Belle Williams (AJ), New Salisbury, Ind.; grandchildren, Cletus Pate, Lucas Pate and Hannah Pate; great-grandchildren, Chloe Pate and Blain Pate; three nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
