Jane Frances Gettelfinger Block

— Funeral liturgy for Jane Frances Gettelfinger Block, 87, Ramsey, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Frenchtown, with burial in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Cemetery. She died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, in a private care home in Milltown.

A registered nurse, she was a graduate of St. Anthony’s Nursing School and retired from Harrison County Hospital. She was born in Ramsey, the daughter of Raymond Sr. and Margaret Schmidt Gettelfinger.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Ray and Irene Block III, Donna and Dale Gettelfinger, Kenneth and Michelle Block, and Cindy and Rick Straub; grandchildren, Stuard Block and  his wife, Angie, Clarissa Walls and her husband, Troy, Bryan Block, Jessica Lange and her husband, Aaron, Jeremy Gettelfinger and his wife, Amanda, Jenna Sullivan and her husband, Michael, Joanna Gettelfinger, Nicolas Block, and Julianne and Johnny Straub; great-grandchildren, Meghan and Erik Hurt, Emma and Ahren Block, Cassie Walls, Harrison and Matthew Lange, and Grace and Henry Gettelfinger; brothers, Robert and Ralph Gettelfinger; and sister, Mary Mattingly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Block Sr. and brothers, Raymond Jr., Daniel and John Gettelfinger.

The family thanks Debbie and Lonnie Bottles for their loving care of Jane.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
