Harriet Ashton Miller, 100; Corydon

— Funeral services for Harriet Ashton Miller, 100, Corydon, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was a native of Laconia, and was retired from the old ICI American. She was a member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, New Albany.

Survivors include caregivers, nieces, Sue Ellen Jones, Patricia Biddle, and Eleanor Faye Palmer; nephew, Patrick Ashton Griffin; sister-In-law, Louise Ashton; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice G. Miller; daughter, Marcella Miller; parents, Claude and Zella Ashton; brothers, John Milton Ashton and Roger Ashton, and sister, Eleanor Ashton Griffin.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home,

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Marcella Miller Scholarship at Floyd Memorial Hospital or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
