Franklin Eugene ‘Gene’ Bryan

86; of New Albany

— Funeral services for Franklin Eugene ‘Gene’ Bryan, 86, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Memorial Gardens West, Louisville. He died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.

 He was a native of Gainesboro, Tenn. and a retired Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Technician for Brown and Williamson Corporation. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and the Masonic Order. 

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Campbell Elkin; two daughters, Marsha C. Antolik and her husband, Joseph, of Wisconsin; and Deborah J. Smith and her husband, Dale, of West Point, Ky.; a brother, Samuel E. Bryan, Derwood, Md.; five grandchildren, Megan J. Twomey and her husband, Christopher, of New York, Caroline E. Harrell and her husband, Joshua, Troy Doyle, Heather Meyer and Joseph Antolik; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin E. Bryan and a grandson, Michael Doyle.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
