Edgar C. Anderson

80; of Floyds Knobs

Funeral services for Edgar C. Anderson, 80, of Floyds Knobs, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial in St. Mary’s Navilleton Catholic Cemetery, Floyds Knobs. He died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at his home.

 He was born June 6, 1932 in El Campo, Texas to the late Paul and Hallie Melcher Anderson. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was the former president of Leedco Interior Systems in Louisville. He was a member of Floyds Knobs American Legion Post 42 and the Bluebird Society. 

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Anna Grangier Anderson; children, Louette Uhl Hall and her husband, Tom, of    Floyds Knobs, Brian Anderson and his wife, Martha, of Greenville, and Christopher Anderson and his wife, Karon, of Floyds Knobs; daughter-in-law, Nonie Anderson Voyles, of Floyds Knobs; brother, Curtis Anderson and his wife, Linda, of Ft. Worth, Texas; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.       

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Anderson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
