A funeral Mass for William P. “Bill” Flispart, 76, of Leavenworth, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Clarksville, with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Albany. He died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of New Albany and a retired pipefitter from Ford LAP, UAW 862. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crawford County. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus JFK Council 1348, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Hutt) Flispart; four sons, Michael Flispart and his wife Nan, of Clarksville, Paul Flispart and his wife Staci, of Jeffersonville, Kirk Flispart and his wife Jenny, of Clarksville and Scott Flispart and his wife Paula, of Clarksville; three daughters, Stephanie Venne and her husband Timothy, of Floyds Knobs, Janet Flispart, of Clarksville and Amanda Craig and her husband Jamie, of Clarksville; one brother, John C. Flispart, of New Albany; beloved Gramps to grandchildren Jill Owen and her husband Danny, Leslie Sellers and her husband Jason, Jerad Venne, John, Emilee, Jacob, Emma, Nolan, Paige and Evan Flispart, Aidan and Logan Craig; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Addie and Oliver Sellers and Luke Owen; and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Flispart; brother, James Flispart; sister, Margaret Flispart; and grandson, Bryan Flispart.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes.
