— Funeral services for Joseph D. Haworth, 91, Clarksville, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at his home.

  Joe “Papaw” was a native of Clarksville. He was married to Margaret and they spent their time dancing and taking care of their family. He was a retired millwright from Colgate Palmolive Company. He was a member of VFW Post 1832, American Legion Post 35, and the Moose Lodge.

  He is survived by his sister Betty Ann Coons; and his four grandchildren, Leon Stocksdale Jr. and his wife,  Bobbie, Jacalyn Dickman, Judy Stocksdale, and Bob Stocksdale and his wife, Melody; eight great-grandchildren, Robby Stocksdale and his wife, Kirsten, Brian Haulter, Morgan Stocksdale Ash, Patrick Haulter and his wife, Crystal, Madison Dickman, Alanna Stocksdale Scott and her husband, Aaron, Damien Dickman and Derek Stocksdale; and five great-great-grandchildren, Nora, Sammy, Emily, Ryann and Cora.

 Joe “Papaw” was well known for his silver Cadillac and being “Papaw on Patro." His family was the love of his life and he was theirs. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, his daughter, Patricia L. Stocksdale, his great-grandsons, Ryan and Drew Stocksdale, his brothers, Richard, Jimmy, Wilbur and Billy; and his sisters, Jenny, Wilnona and Babe.

The family will welcome visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home to celebrate the life of Papaw Haworth.
