Glen D. “Brownie” Brown 67; of Floyds Knobs

Funeral services for Glen D. “Brownie” Brown, 67, of Floyds Knobs, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, with his family by his side.

He was born Sept. 29, 1945 in Russell Springs, Ky. to the late Josephine Brown Mabrey. He was a retired Boilermaker with Local 40 in Louisville, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Fay Brown who died in 2006. He had numerous friends and loved people. He was a member of Hobart Beach Post 1693, and American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post 28 and he will be greatly missed by his wife, family and all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Sue Donahoe Brown; daughters, Patty Barnum and husband Dale, Debbie Barton, Teresa Adams and husband, Jim, and Chastity Brown; stepson, Christopher Hankins; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Boilermaker memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
