Richard E. Wilson, 67; of Louisville
Funeral services for Richard E. Wilson, 67, of Louisville, will be at noon Thursday, July 16, at St. Stephen Church, 1015 South 15th St., Louisville. He died Friday at Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina.
He was a native of New Albany, a graduate of New Albany High School, a self-employed painter and a member of St. Stephen Church.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Holland-Wilson; children, Lautownya Dierker and her husband, Dennis, of Clarksville, Sharon Clark and her husband, Larry, of New Albany, Ise Fletcher and her husband, Daryl, of Atlanta, Troyd Wilson, of Miami, and Richard E. Wilson, III; stepson, Sean Michael Holland; brother, Harold Douglas and his wife, Cherlene, of New Albany; sisters, Mary Hunter and her husband, Ronald, Dorothy Barnett, of Jeffersonville, and Oneida Douglas, of New Albany; and aunt, Mary Jane Tolbert, of New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell T. Wilson and Troyd B. Douglas; and sister, Beatrice Wilson.
Visitation will be at the church after 10 a.m. Thursday.
Perryman's Mortuary, 34th and Broadway, Louisville, is in charge of the arrangements.
