Crystal Kay Green

Crystal Kay Green 22; of Henryville

Funeral services for Crystal Kay Green, 22, of Underwood, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Henryville Community Church, with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Henryville. The Henryville Golden Band will be playing her favorite music at the funeral. She died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, peacefully, at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born Nov. 23, 1985 in Jeffersonville. She was a 2004 graduate of Henryville High School and then pursued her love of music by attending Manchester College in North Manchester, Ind. She was a former devoted member of the Henryville Golden Band, Henryville pep band, and marching band.

Survivors include her parents, Merl S. Green and Deborah K. McIntosh Green, Underwood; maternal grandmother, Debbie McIntosh, Underwood; paternal great-grandmother, Mimi Benjamin, Florida; her dog, Lucy and her cats, Cow and Miss Kitty; along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation at R.D. Pyke Funeral Service, Henryville, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 24 and Friday from 9 to 1 p.m. Visitation at the church will be after 3 p.m. Friday.

The family request donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
