GIVE has vision for healthy lifestyles

In the fall of 1976, I founded Global Interventions Ventures in Education (GIVE) began a meaningful journey of leading a plant based diet to become more engaged in the environmental movement and enhance my personal spirituality and connectivity to nature. This journey led me to incorporate the use of natural fibers in my fashion designs, and raise my family in a plant strong and natural holistic lifestyle. Those examples have inspired my daughter and business partner, Angelica Ronke-Hervey, to follow a holistic lifestyle with her husband FruQuione and her two sons Kojo, 6, and Kwabena, 3. With more than 36 years of experience, this family enterprise encourages others to consider the environmental consequences of their everyday lifestyles and why living a holistic lifestyle will enhance their life while healing our planet.

GIVE is designed to share knowledge and resources related to holistic healthy lifestyle choices and green sustainability while increasing environmental awareness and practices in our community. This divine design is accomplished through the promotion and education of regenerative and sustainable disciplines and practices. These practices encompass subjects of land, soil, water and air, in which the principles of reuse, rethink, reduce, recycle all that we can to be sustainable and ethical stewards of our biosphere are embodied and uplifted.

Our key partners and sponsors include: Indiana University, Bluegrass Bioneers, Greater Clark School Corporation, Ivy Tech Community College and Jefferson Technical Community College. In addition to Community and faith based churches and youth organizations throughout the Kentucky and Southern Indiana metropolitan area.

We reside on Ile Sango Ronke Farm in Jeffersonville, where they present interactive workshops and demonstrations to the Louisville and surrounding Indiana areas. GIVE also offers year around environmental onsite nature campus on their farm for grades K-12 and adult students to create in their local community garden initiatives, and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) food co-ops. GIVE’s mission is to educate and promote green ambassadors for life that are responsible stewards of our planet.

We offer a collection of special occasion year around gift baskets which we use to raise money and awareness of our programs featuring “Healthy Lifestyle Choices” presentations, workshops, organic gardening summer enrichment camps, annual back-to-school give-aways in collaboration with our non-profit organization: Jeffersonville-Metro Parents in Education.

It is our mission and goal to share our gift baskets with our community, businesses, and schools as a service to provide gifts that are customized to meet the needs of individuals and organizations.

We are available to come to your location to take orders and deliver for your employees and staff members that might not have the time to shop for their family and friends. We make it easy to deliver a quality memorable shopping experience at a competitive cost.

Thank you for taking the time to experience the GIVE vision for Healthy Lifestyle Choices. GIVE keeps it Real Green on both sides of the Ohio River; our Global Village to bring you a gift of the healing powers of nature.
