... to everyone who supported the Walkathon for Brandon’s House.

Thanks to the New Albany Police Department for their help; to the youth group at Cherry Street Church of Christ for raising $1,220 and to their leader, Kevin Parr, who will sport pink and purple hair, don a tutu and sing a silly song since they met their goal; to the sponsors, walkers, helpers; to Wanda Parr, the individual who once again raised the most money.

Thanks to the community for helping Brandon’s House raise $20,000-plus with this event.

— Brittany Bley, board member, and Susan Parr, director, will soon have lovely pink hair since this goal was reached.

... to some uncaring thieves.

Just before Easter, I placed a beautiful spring floral saddle on my husband’s gravestone in Sellersburg Cemetery. Dan enjoyed springtime so much.

A week later, I went for my weekly visit and was so saddened to see the saddle missing.

Your thievery has hurt our family. You know what you did was wrong, How can you live with yourself?

Hopefully, you will return it, but I somehow doubt it, for you have no conscience

— Maryann Della Rosa, Sellersburg

... to the church or group who brought several pots of flowers and herbs and placed them on the porch steps of the Bliss House in Jeffersonville.

Everyone who enters into the Bliss House comments on how nice they make the area look. We sincerely appreciate your kindness.

However, we do not know the church or organization who coordinated the donation. Please give me a call so I can thank you personally.

— Julie Schwerer, director, Bliss House, Jeffersonville
