School gives thanks for help with career fair

 

On May 15, Spring Hill Elementary School in Jeffersonville sponsored a career fair. Casting and Conservation Club thanks sponsors

 

Clark County Casting & Conservation Club would like to thank the following sponsors and club members for all of their help in making our inaugural Indoor Fishing Seminar and Kids Casting Tournament, held May 11, a complete success. 

We had 138 people attend the fishing seminar and 68 kids attended the outdoor casting tournament. The overall attendance was almost 400 . First- and second-place finalists in each of the three age groups were awarded a rod, reel and tackle box and a certificate of achievement. The first-place finalists were as follows: Joey Jones, 8 years old and younger; Brooke Corbett, 9 to 11 years old; and Sam Conrad and Jake Baugher, a tie for 12- to 16- year-olds.
