Jeffersonville man arrested on drug charges

JEFFERSONVILLE — A Jeffersonville man faces numerous drug charges after being arrested by Indiana State Police at his residence at the Lafayette Square Apartment Complex, along 10th Street, Thursday afternoon.

Raymond “Tommy” Semones, 62, is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, dealing marijuana less than 30 grams, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, according to a released from the ISP.

On Thursday, troopers searched Semones’ apartment after complaints had been received of possible illegal activity going on inside of the apartment. During the search officers located several alleged marijuana smoking devices. Also located in the apartment was a box containing marijuana, several plastic baggies and a large digital scale.

Semones is at the Michael L. Becher Adult Correctional Complex awaiting an initial hearing.
