JPD: Clarksville bank robber involved in past heist

Lindsay Brading confesses to robbery at Jeffersonville branch

JEFFERSONVILLE — Lindsay Brading, the 27-year-old arrested for robbing Your Community Bank, located at Greentree Boulevard and Lewis and Clark Parkway Tuesday morning, may have been involved in the June 13, 2013, robbery of a Your Community Bank branch in Jeffersonville, according to a news release from JPD.

Based on the similarities between the two robberies, JPD questioned Brading about the Jeffersonville robbery from 2013. During the interview, Brading confessed to robbing the Jeffersonville branch of Your Community Bank, the release states. A probable cause affidavit has been filed with the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office charging her with robbery, a C felony.

Brading, of Maxwell Road in Nabb, is suspected of entering Your Community Bank at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday and leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.

Clarksville Police Chief Mark Palmer said Brading was located nearly an hour later in an employee bathroom of Value City Furniture, which is located in a neighboring parking lot from the bank.

He said that she had changed from a black outfit worn at the bank and into a summer dress before she was found.

Police located a handgun in the bathroom that Brading is believed to have used during the robbery and all the stolen cash from the bank was also recovered, Palmer said.

No one was injured during the robbery or while taking the suspect in to custody.
