Two arrested for assault, criminal confinement

NEW ALBANY —

Brooks was taken into custody Wednesday night, Dec. 5, in Louisville’s Beecher Terrace housing complex. He has been charged in Floyd County with criminal deviate conduct, two counts of criminal confinement and two counts of attempted robbery. Brooks’ arrest by the Louisville Metro Police Department’s FLEX Unit ended a week-long search for him by New Albany detectives.

Brooks is in the Jefferson County Jail where he awaits return to Indiana. His Floyd County charges also include class A, B and C felonies. His bond was set at $500,000 court-cash.
