Stolen vehicle located in Ohio River in New Albany

Car was reported stolen to the Clarksville Police Department in May 2012

NEW ALBANY — Divers from the Indiana State Police Dive Team recovered a stolen vehicle Thursday morning near the Middle Creek Boat Ramp in New Albany, according to a release from ISP.

Divers recovered the vehicle 162 feet down river, west of the boat ramp, in approximately 11 feet of water. The vehicle, a 2000 Pontiac Sun Fire, was reported stolen to the Clarksville Police Department on May 21, 2012.

Anyone with information on the stolen vehicle is encouraged to contact the Clarksville Police Department at 812-288-7151.
