Two arrested for indecency at Theatair X

Mom called police after she entered business looking for her son

CLARKSVILLE — A mother searching for her minor son found her child — and more — inside Clarksville adult bookstore Theatair X.

The mother called police after she said she saw men having sex in theater booths in the business while she was searching for her son, whom she eventually found. Clarksville Police Department officers responded to the woman’s call and made two arrests Monday morning for public indecency.

Responding officers first encountered Robert White, 65, Jacksboro, Tenn., in one of the booths watching a pornographic video. White had his “shorts and underwear around his knees and was masturbating in public,” according to a police report.

In a separate theater, police discovered Shane Champion, 43, Ninth Street, Jeffersonville, who “much in the same manner, had his pants unzipped and unbuttoned,” exposing and touching himself, the report says.

Both men were cited into Clarksville Town Court, although no further information was available Monday afternoon via online court records.

The public indecency charges both men face are misdemeanors. The police report made no mention of people engaged in sex with each other.
