Clarksville police seeking help identifying robber

CPD says U.S. Bank was robbed Saturday

CLARKSVILLE — The Clarksville Police Department is asking for help from the public to identify a man that robbed a U.S. Bank location inside Kroger on Saturday.

According to a press release, at about 1 p.m. Saturday, a black male, 5 feet 10 inches, about 230 pounds, believed to be in his late 50s, entered the Kroger along Lewis and Clark Parkway and went to the U.S. Bank branch located inside the grocery store.

He presented a note demanding money to a bank teller. The teller gave the suspect cash and he fled on foot toward Blackiston Mill Road.

The suspect was wearing a green hooded jacket, camouflage pants, a camouflage visor and sunglasses.

Clarksville Police are asking if anyone recognizes the suspect that they call police 812-288-7151. The public can also call the Clarksville Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 812-284-4636.
