Flag of Honor flies in New Albany

red and white stripes consist of the names of 9/11 victims

NEW ALBANY — A special flag ws presented to New Albany officials to commemorate 9/11. The red and white stripes of the 9/11 Flag of Honor consist of the names of the victims of  9/11. R.T. Jefferson, Kentucky and Indiana state manager for the non-profit fraternal benefit society Woodmen of the World, presented New Albany Chief of Police Sherri Knight with the flag during a ceremony in front of the New Albany Police Department on Wednesday morning.
