REPORT: Toddler dies in Clark County crash

CLARK COUNTY — A toddler has died after a car crash in Southern Indiana, according to a report from WAVE-TV in Louisville.

The Clark County Sheriff's Department says a man driving a Chevy Corsica pulled out of the Thortons on U. S. 31 Saturday evening into the path of a Mitsubishi Endeavor.

The impact was to the passenger door of the Corsica, where 20-month-old Chantelle Thomas was sitting.

She was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville where she died.

Her mother and another child in the car were also hurt. Police say the drivers of the vehicles were not.

The crash remains under investigation.
