Floyd Central Alumni Association announces 2014 Hall of Fame class

FLOYDS KNOBS — TODD SHARP

Sharp is the coach with the most victories in FCHS history.

As the head coach of the Floyd Central Dazzlers, he has taken his squads to competitive success and national recognition during his 20-year coaching tenure. Sharp led his Dazzlers teams to 10 consecutive UDA National Championships, from 2003 through 2012, as well as six IHSDTA state competition titles.

The FC Dazzlers’ success led to their feature on the cover of Dance Spirit Magazine, and the team under Sharp made several appearances on ESPN2 television during their various competitions. In addition to FC’s varsity squad, Sharp also coaches FC Junior High and JV Dazzlers, leading them to numerous first-place national titles as well.   

Sharp took the helm of the University of Louisville Ladybirds dance team in 1998 and coached them to multiple national titles.
