Greater Clark bus wreck injures two students

River Valley Middle bus struck by car

JEFFERSONVILLE — A wreck involving a Greater Clark County Schools bus ended with two children in the hospital with minor injuries on Friday.

A bus coming from River Valley Middle School was hit by a car at the intersection of Kopp and National avenues in Jeffersonville at about 3:20 p.m., according to Erin Bojorquez, supervisor of communications for the district

Bojorquez said two students were taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville after the incident.

Phone calls to Jeffersonville Police detectives for further details were not returned as of press time.
