Providence Players present 'I Never Saw a Butterfly'

CLARKSVILLE — The Providence Players of Our Lady of Providence Jr.-Sr. High School will present the one-act play “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” by Celeste Raspanti the weekends of Sept. 29 and Oct. 6. Show times are Sept. 29, Oct. 5, Oct. 6, and Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. and one matinee on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Ray Day Little Theatre.

“I Never Saw Another Butterfly” is an imaginative creation of one girl’s story of surviving the Jewish ghetto during World War II based on documentary materials such as poems, diaries, letters, journals, drawings and pictures. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. Limited seating is available. For more information, call 812-945-2538, ext. 328.
