Pam Miller Memorial Scramble

The third annual Pam Miller Memorial Golf Scramble benefiting Kosair Charities will take place Saturday, May 18 at Valley View Golf Club in Floyds Knobs.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. on the 18th, followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

From 1-3 p.m., there will be a lunch, an awards program, door prizes, a raffle and silent auction.


Georgetown teen honored by Lucas Oil

Georgetown resident Corey Deuser, the 15-year-old driver of the Focus Eyewear No. 14 Ford in the ARCA CRA Super Series and the CRA/Jegs All-Stars Tour, has been chosen as the My Lucas Oil Athlete of the Week.

Deuser is preparing for the CRA/Jegs All-Stars Tour season opener, the Cabin Fever 100, at the 3/8-mile Springport (Mich.) Motor Speedway this weekend.

The Deuser Motorsports team is scheduled to test at Springport today, with practice set for Saturday. Qualifications and racing are set for Sunday.
