Evansville used a second half rally to come from behind and beat Rock Creek 49-46 on Saturday.

The Lions led 31-25 at the half, but Central was able to go on a 24-15 run over the second half of the game to improve to 8-5 with its third straight win.

Gedeon Nzobi finished with a team-high of 14 for Rock Creek. Will Brown added 13.

Kourtlandt Martin had a game-high 21 to help the Bears end Rock Creek’s six-game winning streak.

Evansville Reitz had an offensive explosion on Floyd Central in a 109-64 blowout victory on Saturday.

The 10-4 Panthers, who have now won four of their last five, took a 21-point lead at 34-13 after one quarter and never looked back. They scored another 32 points in the third quarter and led 84-49 after three quarters.

Jaelan Sanford was the high man for Reitz with 27 points. J.C. Kinniard led the Highlanders with 20 points and Tyler Kimm added 14.
