• Shelby Miller (Maryville women’s basketball, So.) — weekly stats: 10.5 points per game, 8-of-20 field goals, 3-of-11 3-pointers, 2-of-2 free throws, nine rebounds, four steals, three assists; top performance: 14 points, shooting 5-of-12 from the floor, 2-of-7 from 3-point range and 2-of-2 from the line, five rebounds, game-high four steals and three assists in the Saints’ 84-63 home win over Bellarmine on Saturday; team records: 7-6 overall, 3-2 GLVC.

• Chris O’Connor (Marian men’s track, Jr.) — top performance: first in the high jump at the Illini Open on Saturday in Champaign, Ill., 1.95 meters, career-best.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Terence Billups (IU Southeast men’s basketball, Jeff native, So.) — weekly stats: 18.5 points per game, 14-of-22 field goals, 3-of-7 3-pointers, 6-of-6 free throws, 18 rebounds, two blocks; top performance: team-high 24 points, shooting 8-of-13 from the field, 2-of-5 from 3-point range and 6-of-6 from the stripe, team-high six rebounds and team-high two blocks in the Grenadiers’ 98-96 victory on Saturday at IU East; team records: 15-3 overall, 5-0 KIAC.

• James Borengasser (Spalding men’s track, Borden native, Jr.) — notes: 17th in the 3,000 at the Capital Challenge last Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, 10:36.59.
