Kimmel to be grand marshall of Nationwide Series

Clarksville native will try to break ARCA record Friday at Kentucky

CLARKSVILLE — Nine-time ARCA Racing Series champion and Clarksville native Frank Kimmel will be the grand marshall for Saturday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. The race will start around 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPNews.

Tonight, Kimmel will be racing in ARCA’s ZLOOP 150 at the 1 1/2-mile track, starting at 8 p.m. It will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Kimmel will be vying to set the ARCA all-time wins record and to extend his lead in the ARCA point standings.
