• Notes: Godfrey played centerfield and led off. He opened the bottom of the first by reaching on an error and scoring on Jordan Edgerton’s single. After striking out in his second at-bat, Godfrey singled and scored on an Edgerton sac fly in the fifth.

• Notes: Godfrey led off with his league-leading fifth double of the season and scored on a Mike Dodig ground ball to start the Braves’ seven-run first inning. In the fourth, he added to his league lead with his sixth double and scored again on an Edgerton sacrifice fly. In Danville’s three-run fifth, he added an RBI sacrifice fly to score Bryan De La Rosa. Fernelys Sanchez scored on a subsequent throwing error to give the D-Braves an 11-1 lead.

• Season: 12-for-32 (.375), 6 doubles, 6 RBIs, 1 triple, 9 runs, .387 OBP, .552 slugging, .939 OPS. He is 12th in the Appalachian league in batting, second in runs, tied for fourth in RBIs and has two more doubles than anyone else in the league.

• Team record: 8-3 (1 1/2 games ahead of the Pulaski Mariners in the AL East).
