• Notes: After grounding out to shortstop in the bottom of the first inning, Godfrey reached base on a fielder’s choice in the third. Later in the frame, he scored on a double by Jordan Edgerton. Godfrey struck out in his next two at-bats. But in the bottom of the eighth, he collected an RBI single to center field with two out in a four-run inning.

• Season: 13-for-37 (.351), 10 runs scored, 7 RBIs, 6 doubles. Entering Monday’s game, Godfrey ranked 12th in the Appalachian League in batting and second in runs scored along with being tied for fourth in RBIs.

• Team record: 9-3 (two games ahead of the Princeton Rays in the AL East).
