• Records: Corydon Central 2-0, New Albany 1-2.

• Last year: New Albany 68, at Corydon Central 50.

• Outlook: Corydon’s last four trips into The Doghouse have not gone well. The closest of the four was 30 points. This one will be closer, but not close enough.

• Greg’s Pick: New Albany 69, Corydon Central 56.

BOYS — JEFFERSONVILLE AT MADISON

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Records: Jeffersonville 1-0 (0-0 Hoosier Hills Conference); Madison 1-2 (0-1 HHC).

• AP Rankings: Jeffersonville No. 16 (Class 4A).

• Last year: At Jeffersonville 78, Madison 44.

• Outlook: The Red Devils will get off to a great start in defending their HHC title.

• Greg’s Pick: Jeffersonville 81, Madison 58.

BOYS — CLARKSVILLE AT EASTERN

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Records: Clarksville 3-0 (1-0 Mid-Southern Conference); Eastern 1-2 (0-1 MSC).

• AP Rankings: Clarksville No. 5 (Class 2A).

• Last year: At Clarksville 66, Eastern 44.

• Outlook: If the Musketeer shooters are on, they have the ability to keep this close. Clarksville should find a way to prevail either way.

• Greg’s Pick: Clarksville 75, Eastern 66.

BOYS — PROVIDENCE AT SCOTTSBURG

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Records: Providence 3-0, Scottsburg 1-2.

• AP Rankings: Providence No. 12 (Class 2A).

• Last year: At Providence 70, Scottsburg 38.

• Outlook: Scottsburg looks like its a lot better than last year, but Providence may be as well.

• Greg’s Pick: Providence 64, Scottsburg 38.

BOYS — CHRISTIAN ACADEMY AT PAOLI

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Records: Christian Academy 3-1, Paoli 2-1.

• Last year: Paoli 49, at Christian Academy 43.

• Outlook: This is one of those games that should tell us how far the Warriors have come since last season.

• Greg’s Pick: Christian Academy 60, Paoli 58.

GIRLS — JENNINGS COUNTY AT NEW ALBANY

• Time: 1:30 p.m.

• Records: Jennings County 4-3 (1-1 HHC); New Albany 3-2 (0-1 HHC).

• Last year: New Albany 73, at Jennings County 37.

• Outlook: It will be nice for the Bulldogs to get home.

• Greg’s Pick: New Albany 58, Jennings County 53.

GIRLS — SILVER CREEK AT CHARLESTOWN

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Records: Silver Creek 4-2 (2-1 MSC); Charlestown 2-4 (0-3 MSC).

• Last year: regular-season meeting — at Silver Creek 33, Charlestown 27; Charlestown Holiday Tournament — Silver Creek 38, Charlestown 30.

• Outlook: Last year, the two teams combined for 60 points. Another defensive battle is predictable.

• Greg’s Pick: Silver Creek 46, Charlestown 31.

GIRLS — NORTH HARRISON AT FLOYD CENTRAL

• Time: 7:30 p.m.

• Records: North Harrison 3-6, Floyd Central 4-2.

• Last year: Floyd Central 70, at North Harrison 57.

• Outlook: I’m starting to think the Highlanders are quite good. They have three or four players who can really put the ball in the basket.

• Greg’s Pick: Floyd Central 68, North Harrison 53.
