CLASS A WEST WASHINGTON REGIONAL: Rivet’s defense too much for Borden

Rademacher says goodbye to four successful seniors

(Continued)

CAMPBELLSBURG —

“This is the first game we lost all year with our full team available with no injuries or illness. We gave great effort. We didn’t quit.”

Rademacher has high hopes for next season. He will return two starters in Ruedinger and junior guard Kristen Nestor and several talented underclassmen that are ready to get more playing time on the varsity squad.

“We expect to be back here next year,” Rademacher said. “We have two really good starters returning. We’ve got some young kids that I know how good they are.”

Sophomore forward Katie Donovan led the Patriots with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Dreiman had 12 points and a game-high six assists. Rivet’s Lauren Herman and Kelsey Ivers each scored nine points.
