H.S. BOYS’ BASKETBALL: Bulldogs blow out Seymour, 65-40

McBirth, Hibbard, Warren shine in victory



Booth led Seymour with 12 points. He was 3 for 6 from the floor, made three of his four 3-point attempts, and was the only Owl in double-figures.

The fourth quarter was the DeAnthony Warren show. Warren was 4 for 4 from the field and 2 for 2 from the line for all 11 of his points. He also had two assists, two steals and a blocked shot in the fourth.

For the quarter, New Albany was 9 for 12 from the floor and outscored the Owls 25-15.

“He really played well in the fourth quarter,” Shannon said of the 6-1 junior. “I finally got him to wake up.”

The Bulldogs are back in action a week from tonight when they host Columbus East in an HHC makeup game.
