HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Borden sweeps Hornets 5-0 in SAC tennis

Pioneers come through in extra-inning softball victory



• Lanesville edges Borden: Host Lanesville got a meet-best 45 from Harrison Wells and held off Borden 192-197 at Old Captiol in Corydon on Thursday.

Tony Wagoner III led the Braves with a 46. Teammates Kamden Hurst and Reilly Gray each shot a 49.

NEXT: South Central at Borden, Tuesday.


• Floyd Central at Providence baseball was postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

• The Borden baseball game against Corydon Central has been cancelled.

• Silver Creek’s track meet at Jennings County has been rescheduled for April 22.
