> SOUTHERN INDIANA — ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

• Hannah Manger (Purdue women’s swimming, New Albany graduate, Fr.) — top performance: first in the 100-yard backstroke in the Boilermakers’ 177-116 dual-meet win at Miami (Ohio) last Friday, 57.64; notes: third in the 200 medley relay, 1:48.22; Manger’s 100 back victory was the first in her collegiate career, as she was making her collegiate debut.

CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

• Rachel Boesing (Asbury volleyball, Fr.) — notes: four blocks and three kills in the Eagles’ 3-0 win at Kentucky State last Wednesday; team records: 27-7 overall, 6-1 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

• Drew Mattingly (Huntington men’s soccer, Sr.) — weekly stats: six saves, four goals against; notes: four saves and two goals against in the Foresters’ 2-1 home loss over Spring Arbor last Tuesday; season-ending stats: 70 saves, 28 goals against; team records: 6-9-2 overall, 2-5-2 Crossroads League.

• Deahna Welcher (Lipscomb women’s tennis, So.) — notes: 1-2 singles record and 0-2 doubles record at the United States Tennis Association/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional last weekend in Memphis, Tenn.
