• Shelby Miller (Maryville (Mo.) women’s basketball, Jr.) — weekly stats: 17 points per game, 12-31 field goals, 3-12 3-pointers, 7-7 free throws, six rebounds, five steals, four assists; top performance: game-high 22 points, shooting 8-of-17 from the floor, 1-of-5 from 3-point range and 5-of-5 from the stripe, team-high four assists and four rebounds in the Saints’ 83-79 loss at Missouri-Kansas City last Wednesday; team records: 4-4 overall, 0-1 GLVC.

• Chris O’Connor (Marian men’s track, Sr.) — top performance: second in the high jump at the Gerry England Alumni Open on Saturday in Indianapolis, 1.93 meters; notes: fourth in the 1,600 relay, 3:44.57.

MISCELLANEOUS

• James Borengasser (Spalding men’s track, Borden native, Jr.) — notes: 12th in the mile run at the Gerry England Alumni Open on Saturday in Indianapolis, 5:13.94.
