H.S. BOYS' BASKETBALL: NA, Creek, Jeff will close out summer league play next week

Each program will compete Tuesday at New Albany

NEW ALBANY — The final day of the Kentuckiana High School Summer Basketball League for three Clark-Floyd area boys’ basketball programs will take place on Tuesday at New Albany High School.

The varsity programs from New Albany, Silver Creek and Jeffersonville will each have one game on Tuesday. The Dragons will face Christian Academy of Louisville at 4:45 p.m. in the New Albany auxiliary gymnasium. The Red Devils will take on Louisville Manual at 6 p.m. in the auxiliary gym, followed by New Albany vs. Seymour at 8:30 p.m. in The Doghouse.

The New Albany, Jeff and Silver Creek junior varsity teams also will be in action on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will play Louisville St. Xavier at 3:30 p.m. in The Doghouse and then North Oldham at 7:15 p.m. in The Doghouse. The Silver Creek JV will face Christian Academy of Louisville at 3:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym., followed by the Jeff JV playing St. Xavier at 4:45 p.m., which also will be in the auxiliary gym.

Monday and Wednesday league action, which will involve several Louisville schools and Seymour, will take place at Louisville Moore High School. Games will start at 3:30 p.m. each day.
