Colts beat Broncos 39-33 in Manning's return

Lucks 4 TDs helps Indy hand Denver its first loss; Colts improve to 5-2

Cornerbacks Vontate Davis, Greg Toler and Dadius Butler were all hurt, although Davis and Butler both returned to the game. Safety Delano Howell left with a shoulder/neck injury and did not return.

Punter Pat McAfee got off to a slow start kicking the ball but he made up for it. McAfee averaged 47.1 yards on nine total punts and had six kicks downed inside the Broncos' 20. That helped the Colts defense pins Denver deep in its own territory for much of the game.

He also had the tackle of the night as he slammed Broncos return specialist Trinton Holliday to the turf after a 56-yard return late in the first quarter. The hit became YouTube sensation before halftime.
