Marysville Community Center to be rededicated March 1

MARYSVILLE — On March 1, there will be a rededication of the Marysville Community Center that was devastated by the March 2, 2012, tornadoes that struck Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky.

Through the generosity of Mercury One, March2Recovery, St. Francis Tornado Relief Fund, township funds, The Americore NCCC volunteers and countless other individuals, the former Marysville grade school is again ready to serve the social needs of the community.

There will be a brief prayer and dedication service at noon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  Lite refreshments will be served until 1 p.m. Pictures will be displayed of past activities, the damage from the tornado and reconstruction work.

The public is invited to attend.

All in the community are invited to attend. Visit mercuryone.org for more information.
