Cops for Kids

Annual event benefits 68 area children

NEW ALBANY — New Albany police officers helped kids shop for clothes on Tuesday during the Fraternal Order Of Police 99 Lee Deich Memorial Lodge's annual Cops for Kids event at Meijer along Charlestown Road in New Albany. Each of the 68 children registered to participate in the event were allotted $250 for clothing, necessities and up to three small toys. See related photo.
