Sweet scene on Valentine's Day in Southern Indiana

Local florists stay busy filling lovely orders

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Valentine's Day is the busiest time of year for Aebersold Florist in New Albany, as it expects to have more than 500 deliveries on Friday. Ray Herdt's Florist, Jeffersonville, also kept busy Thursday. Said Ray Herdt: "People tend to think flowers are flowers, but they are actually graded into three categories; standard, fancy and select. We buy the best grade we can get." See related photos

The event was put on by the Boys and Girls Club of Kentuckiana and the Floyd County Bar Association, and free school supplies were available, as well as refreshments, activities and games.
