HOT SHOTS: Optimist Club holds annual skills competition

CLARKSVILLE — The Optimist Club of Clarksville held its annual Tri-Star pass, dribble and shoot basketball competition Tuesday night. Boys and girls 8-13 competed with the winner in each age division advancing to a regional competition in Huntingburg. See related photo.

Amy Harpenau is the new director of theater arts at New Albany High School. Harpenau is a 2007 graduate of Floyd Central High School, has appeared on stage at both high schools and worked in theaters since she graduated college.
