JEFFERSONVILLE — A driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries Tuesday after the car they were driving hit a train at U.S. 31 and Cooper's Lane in Jeffersonville.

Witnesses told police the driver failed to field to the flashing lights, the Clark County Sheriff's Office reported. The incident happened around 6 p.m. and the tracks were expected to be reopened by around 7.
