JEFFERSONVILLE — Seven members of Greater Clark County Schools’ administrative team will change roles starting with the 2019-20 school year as Superintendent Mark Laughner continues to work to align the skills and talents of district leaders with the needs of its schools, according to a Greater Clark news release.
Adrienne Bach has been named principal of Charlestown Middle School and has most currently served as the school’s assistant principal. Parkview Middle School Assistant Principal Amy Gilbert will move into the Charlestown Middle School assistant principal position. The district will post the Parkview Middle School assistant principal vacancy this week.
Jeffersonville High School Assistant Principal Ginger Whitis will move to principal of New Washington Middle/High School, and current New Washington Middle/High School Principal Carla Hobson will fill the assistant principal position vacated by Whitis.
John T. Cox will become the assistant principal of Charlestown High School after serving in the same role at River Valley Middle School. One of the district’s current academic coaches, Tricia Armenta, has been selected to fill the assistant principal position at River Valley Middle School.
Brooke Lannan will move from supervisor of Special Education to director of Special Education after the director’s position was recently vacated due to a resignation.
“These administrative changes, along with the changes approved by the Board of School Trustees on June 18th, will be beneficial for our schools and district as we continue to focus on the academic success of our students," Laughner stated in the release. "I have confidence in the district’s administrative team and look forward to a successful school year.”
