CLARK COUNTY — Maintenance work on the Lewis and Clark Bridge and nearby roadways will result in intermittent lane closures July 16-18, according to a news release from WVB East End Partners.
Below are the work dates:
July 16: Pavement inspections
WVB East End Partners will close the right lane westbound on Ind. 265 from mile marker 12.8 to mile marker 11.7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to perform inspections and maintenance. Please use caution when approaching and driving through work zones and give plenty of room for safety. Please slow down.
July 17: Guardrail repair
WVB will close the right shoulder of northbound Port Road just prior to the Ind. 265 eastbound on-ramp to repair damaged guardrail between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Please slow down and give workers and their equipment plenty of room to work safely.
July 18: Sweeping Operations
Bridge sweeping operations will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday and conclude by 6 a.m. on Friday. Bridge sweeping will be a moving operation on both sides of the road in both directions to remove dirt and debris. All work will be performed between mile marker 8.78 on Ind. 265. Motorists are reminded to give workers and equipment plenty of room for safety and to slow down in work zones.
