A Borden man was shot outside of a bar off Ind. 60 early Saturday morning and the suspect is still at-large.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, an argument began inside of Hoosier Hills Sports Bar in Borden shortly after 1 a.m. The argument between the two men spilled into the parking lot outside the bar after they were kicked out of the establishment.

The dispute was allegedly over a woman, of which one of the men involved was an ex-boyfriend and the other is the current boyfriend.

According to Maj. Chuck Adams, public information officer with the sheriff’s department, during the dispute outside, one of the men allegedly pulled out a revolver, causing the other man to rush him.

The two men got into a scuffle and as a result the man who charged the individual with the pistol was shot in the upper chest and abdomen.

The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening and he was transported to University of Louisville Hospital.

Adams would not release the name of either the shooter or the victim involved in the incident.

The shooter is still at-large, but his identity is known by police, who expect that he will turn himself in this weekend.
